The challenge of this project was to design a product to fit within a brand that may not typically sell this product. Using current brand elements and implementing them in different products while remaining user-centered is the most important focus for this project.
what is petzl?
Petzl was started by Fernand Petzl, a caver and adventurer in the 1930’s in France.  He created his first brand products in 1970 and established the Petzl brand in 1975.  Petzl has grown to be an international enterprise and “revolutionized activities with light and verticality”.
Today, Petzl specializes in equipment for mountaineering, climbing, caving, and other outdoor sporting activities. Some of these products are shown here. My challenge is to design a sweatsuit that fits the Petzl brand from their history to their modern day products.
